Coffee Connections Coffee Connections is time set aside for military spouses to get together for a fun relaxing morning of sharing stories and experiences, meeting new friends, learning new skills or just having a break. We meet Monday mornings from September to June. Fun Factory & Youth Corner Fun Factory and Youth Corner programs are designed to support children in their communication and social development and allows kids to just have fun! Activities and events include: games, arts and crafts, baking and cooking skills, sports and recreation and much, much more! Fun Factory is for ages 5-8 years old and runs from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Youth Corner is for ages 9-12 and runs from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Both of these programs run out of the Multi-purpose room at the Community Centre-19 market Street. The cost per session is $15 or a $2 drop in fee will apply. All Members must be a military dependant of the 22 Wing Defence Team (DND/MFRC/PSP). Mindfulness Program Join us to learn how mindfulness can enrich your life. This practice will improve your emotional and physical well-being! We meet once a week for lighthearted discussions, sharing and mindfulness mediation practice in a safe non-judgemental environment. Teen Centre Hours: Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6-10pm The Teen Centre, located in the Community Centre, 19 Market Street, offers a variety of activities and events that are designed by Teens and supervised by Staff. Parents are welcome to stop by at any time, should they have any questions or concerns. Teens! Come check us out and play a game of pool, Playstation, Wii, or watch movies on our big screen TV, surf the net, meet other teens in the community or just hang out and chat with your friends. We have a wide selection of board games, movies and video games as well as a stocked canteen. Join the Teen Council! We are always looking for new members. Just For Us Just For Us is a group directed, project based program promoting emotional health and wellness. A fun, safe place where you feel accepted empowered and inspired! Enhance and enrich your life by deeper exploration while finding your true North! Join us every Friday mornings from 9am-noon at 19 Market St. Our upcoming projects include completing our vision boards, and book club, self-care workshops, as well the Just for Us “Shoe Box Project”.
