The North Bay MFRC Second Language Training Program offered to military spouses, dependents, military members, reservists, retired military members, their spouses and DND employees is meant to meet your learning goals while enjoying the experience of learning a second language.
Day or evening English and French classes offered throughout the year depend on the number of students interested, the availability of instructors and facilities. Our qualified instructors are experienced in following the Military Family Services (MFS)’s curriculum.
The On-Line Language training (Rosetta Stone method) is for civilian CF family members, who are unable to attend class-led learning due to the time classes are offered, or who require language training at a level not offered locally. All participants must possess a valid email address and the ability to self-guide and self-pace in an online environment. Participants must also be able to adjust computer settings and install/download plug-ins and software applications. For those whose computers do not have speakers, headphones can be signed out at the MFRC.
