Coffee Connections Coffee Connections is time set aside for military spouses to get together for a fun relaxing morning of sharing stories and experiences, meeting new friends, learning new skills or just having a break. Self-Compassion Yoga A perfect way to end your busy day! Join us in the lower level of the MFRC Wednesday’s 5:30pm-6:30pm for gentle self-compassion yoga and calming relaxation.This involves deep breathing, gentle stretching and quiet meditation.   Mindfulness Program Join us to learn how mindfulness can enrich your life. This practice will improve your emotional and physical well-being! We meet once a week for lighthearted discussions, sharing and mindfulness mediation practice in a safe non-judgemental environment. Military Youth Support Program Featuring Mindmasters (Stress Management Techniques for Children ages 7-12) Begins Thursday January 10 to February 28, 2019 (7 sessions) 6:00 to 7:30 pm At the Community Centre Multi-Purpose Room 19 Market Street, Hornell Heights Cost:  FREE   This program teaches children stress management techniques developed by Dr. Terry Orlick from the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario   To register, please come into the MFRC or call 705-494-2011 ext 2053 Please register early, space is limited! Just For Us Just For Us is group directed, promoting emotional health and wellness. A fun, safe place where you feel accepted empowered and inspired! Upcoming topics to look forward to this winter include: art journaling, exploring homemade wellness products, book club and other inspirational and creative projects.
