Just For Us Just For Us is group directed, promoting emotional health and wellness.  A fun, safe place where you feel accepted empowered and inspired! We meet Friday mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm at the Teen Centre - 19 Market St. Upcoming topics to look forward to this fall include: “The Artist’s Way” a 12 week course in discovering and recovering your creative self, making crafts, exploring homemade beauty products and other inspirational and creative projects. Coffee Connections is time set aside for military spouses to get together for a fun relaxing morning of sharing stories and experiences, meeting new friends, learning new skills or just having a break. We meet Monday mornings at the Teen Centre from September to June. Self-Compassion Yoga A perfect way to end your busy day! Join us in the lower level of the MFRC on Wednesday’s from 5:30pm-6:30pm for gentle self-compassion yoga and calming relaxation. This involves deep breathing, gentle stretching and quiet mediation. Please register early to claim your spot, space is limited! Mindfulness Program Join us to learn how mindfulness can enrich your life. This practice will improve your emotional and physical well-being! We meet once a week for lighthearted discussions, sharing and mindfulness meditation practice in a safe non-judgemental environment. Come BREATHE with us… We meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm-7:30pm in the lower level of the MFRC. What is Mindfulness? Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.
