Fun Factory  Fun Factory is a fun filled program for children between the ages of 5 – 8 years old. This structured program is designed to support children in their communication and social development and allows kids to just have fun! Activities and events include: games, arts and crafts, baking and cooking skills, science and engineering, sports and recreation and so much more! Fun Factory is held every Wednesday evening from 5:30pm – 7:00pm in the Multi-purpose room at the Community Centre, 19 Market St. The cost per session is $15.00 or a $2.00 drop-in fee will apply. Each session runs for 9 to 10 weeks, depending on events and statutory holidays. Additional fees may apply for special events, e.g. science north trip, bowling, dances etc. All activities and events are implemented and supervised by staff and volunteers. Mindfulness Program Join us to learn how mindfulness can enrich your life. This practice will improve your emotional and physical well-being! We meet once a week for lighthearted discussions, sharing and mindfulness mediation practice in a safe non-judgemental environment. Come BREATHE with us…we meet Wednesday evenings 6-7:30pm in the lower of the MFRC. What is Mindfulness? Youth Corner is a program for youth between the ages of 9-12 years old.  This program is designed to allow youth to have fun interacting with their peers while enhancing the development of social/emotional, communication, and leadership skills.  All activities are founded by youth, organized and supervised by staff.  Youth will have the opportunity to participate in coordinated events such as recreational and leisure activities and games and other social activities. Youth Corner is held every Wednesday evening from 7:00pm – 8:30pm in the Multi-purpose room at the Community Centre, 19 Market St. On a number of occasions Youth Corner will be held at the Teen Centre (Community Centre-19 Market St.) for youth to experience all the exciting things that are in store for them once they are of age to attend. Self-Compassion Yoga A perfect way to end your busy day! Join us in the lower level of the MFRC Wednesdays 7:30pm-8:30pm for gentle self-compassion yoga and calming relaxation. Just For Us “Just For Us” is a group directed, project based program promoting emotional health and wellness. A fun, safe place where you feel accepted empowered and inspired! Enhance and enrich your life by deeper exploration while finding your true North! Join us every Friday mornings from 9am-noon at 19 Market St. Our upcoming projects include completing our vision boards, and book club as well as self-care workshops.

Coffee Connections Coffee Connections is time set aside for military spouses to get together for a fun relaxing morning of sharing stories and experiences, meeting new friends, learning new skills or just having a break.
