Mindfulness Program Join us to learn how mindfulness can enrich your life. This practice will improve your emotional and physical well-being! We meet once a week for lighthearted discussions, sharing and mindfulness mediation practice in a safe non-judgemental environment. Come BREATHE with us…we meet Wednesday evenings 6-7:30pm in the lower of the MFRC. What is Mindfulness? Self-Compassion Yoga A perfect way to end your busy day! Join us in the lower level of the MFRC Thursdays 4:15pm-5:30pm for gentle self-compassion yoga and calming relaxation. Come check us out and play a game of pool, Playstation, Wii, or watch movies on our big screen TV, surf the net, meet other teens in the community or just hang out and chat with your friends. We have a wide selection of board games, movies and video games as well as a stocked canteen. Join the Teen Council! We are always looking for new members.
Just For Us Just For Us is group directed, promoting emotional health and wellness. A fun, safe place where you feel accepted empowered and inspired! On Saturday 09 December 2017, 22 Wing will be celebrating the holiday season with “Jingle on a Sleigh”. This event has been initiated by the 22 Wing HCols and will include; sleigh rides, food, bouncy castles, arts and crafts, outdoor activities and a visit from Santa Claus. The event will take place at the Fitness and Wellness Centre from 1230 hours – 1700 hours. Your Mess, MFRC, Wing Community Council, and CANEX have worked very hard to organize this event for all members of 22 Wing and their families. Each child 18 years of age or younger is eligible to receive a FREE gift from Santa. The gift must be purchased and wrapped by the parent or guardian at a value of $20.00 or below (before taxes) and the cost will be reimbursed upon drop-off of the gift at the MFRC, which must take place between the hours of 0900 and 1500 Dec 6-8th. Please ensure the gift is wrapped with a label specifying the first and last name of the child for whom it is intended. Coffee Connections Coffee Connections is time set aside for military spouses to get together for a fun relaxing morning of sharing stories and experiences, meeting new friends, learning new skills or just having a break. We meet Monday mornings at the Teen Centre from September to June.
