Teen Centre @ 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm Teen Centre Hours: Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6-10pm The Teen Centre, located in the Community Centre, 19 Market Street, offers a variety of activities and events that are designed by Teens and supervised by Staff. Parents are welcome to stop by at any time, should they have any questions or concerns. Teens! Come check us out and play a game of pool, Playstation, Wii, or watch movies on our big screen TV, surf the net, meet other teens in the community or just hang out and chat with your friends. We have a wide selection of board games, movies and video games as well as a stocked canteen. Join the Teen Council! We are always looking for new members.

Coffee Connections Coffee Connections is time set aside for military spouses to get together for a fun relaxing morning of sharing stories and experiences, meeting new friends, learning new skills or just having a break. We meet Monday mornings at the Teen Centre from September to June. Spouses Night Out Spouses Night Out is once a month. We plan and host an evening out at a local restaurant, theatre or community event of interest. This event is open to all Military spouses. Fun Factory  Fun Factory will begin on Wednesday September 13, 2017 Fun Factory is a fun filled program for children between the ages of 5 – 8 years old. This structured program is designed to support children in their communication and social development and allows kids to just have fun! Activities and events include: games, arts and crafts, baking and cooking skills, science and engineering, sports and recreation and so much more! Fun Factory is held every Wednesday evening from 5:30pm – 7:00pm in the Multi-purpose room at the Community Centre, 19 Market St. The cost per session is $15.00 or a $2.00 drop-in fee will apply. Each session runs for 9 to 10 weeks, depending on events and statutory holidays. Additional fees may apply for special events, e.g. science north trip, bowling, dances etc. All activities and events are implemented and supervised by staff and volunteers. Mindfulness Program Join us to learn how mindfulness can enrich your life. This practice will improve your emotional and physical well-being! We meet once a week for lighthearted discussions, sharing and mindfulness mediation practice in a safe non-judgemental environment. Come BREATHE with us…we meet Wednesday evenings 6-7:30pm in the lower of the MFRC. What is Mindfulness? Youth Corner will begin on Wednesday September 13, 2017 Youth Corner is a program for youth between the ages of 9-12 years old.  This program is designed to allow youth to have fun interacting with their peers while enhancing the development of social/emotional, communication, and leadership skills.  All activities are founded by youth, organized and supervised by staff.  Youth will have the opportunity to participate in coordinated events such as recreational and leisure activities and games and other social activities.
